"At least on my system, the Art-Scan preview is impressively close to the final scan. I think that significantly increases the software's functionality. Scantastic's preview also is pretty close. It and the scan have more saturation than Art-Scan but the colors aren't as true. The Epson Twain preview is ugly and of limited use; the scan doesn't have enough saturation."
